The Vestry helps guide and support the mission and ministry of St. Stephen’s, serving as the lay leadership team for our parish.

How Vestry Service Works

The Vestry is the elected leadership team of St. Stephen’s, working alongside the Rector and parish staff to support the mission, ministry, and stewardship of our church. Vestry members help guide the vision of our parish, care for our buildings and resources, and represent the voice of the congregation in important decisions.

If you feel called to serve in leadership, support the life of our church, and help nurture our growing community, consider discerning a role on the Vestry.

Serving on the Vestry is a meaningful way to help guide the mission and ministry of St. Stephen’s. Vestry members are elected by the congregation during our annual meeting and serve as the lay leadership of our parish.

  • 9 elected members

  • 3-year terms (with terms staggered so new members join each year)

  • Monthly Vestry meetings

  • Prayerful decision-making and spiritual leadership

  • Partner with the Rector and senior staff to support the ministry and vision of the church

  • Help care for the church’s buildings, finances, and community life

  • Serve as representatives and ambassadors for the congregation

We seek members who feel called to serve, listen, pray, and help strengthen our parish family as we grow in faith and community.
